If you prefer, you may request to have your meal prepared by Mr. Giorgos in the traditional oven, with a choice of fresh vegetables picked from the garden or a variety of fresh fish right off his boat.

The area owes its name to the Kounopetra rock at the edge of the water. This massive rock is among Kefalonia’s best known geological wonders. Up till the 1953 earthquake, Kounopetra rocked back and forth endlessly. The movement nowadays is almost imperceptible but the legend rocks on.

This region of Paliki is best known for its red sand shores which are surrounded by massive, sculpted, clay formations. It is an endless natural beauty spa where anyone can enjoy a rejuvenating experience.
